  • Took individuals and groups of people who live with physical and/or mental disabilities out for 1.5-2 hour sails in one of three class of boats: Access, Martin, Sonar.

 

  • Strengthened my communication abilities as I taught various aspects of sailing and interacted with sailors, volunteers, care-aids and guardians

 

  • Enhanced administration skills completing such tasks as filing, emails, phoning participants and organizing volunteers

 

  • Demonstrated my  skill at social marketing through development and maintenance of such social media accounts as Facebook and Twitter

 

  • Evidenced my apptitude for problem solving, creativity and critical thinking as I fixed our equipment and boats.
